Highly demanding transaction driven team supporting a renowned green energy equity and debt investor required bright high performing Credit Analysts from a range of seniorities that could successfully drive credit and due diligence on high profile renewable energy transactions through to successful close. With credit funds driving talent away from investment banks, hiring inter-bank presented various challenges.
Solution
We approached talent from either large-scale project finance teams that had no experience on the equity side who would be attracted by the switch, plus given the firms focus on sustainability and broader future energy themes we were able to attract candidates passionate about the subject matter to enable a long term career transition.
Outcome
Multiple key hires were made which enabled the firm to support the business more comprehensively and within a deadline driven environment. The team is now also able to cross share talent across various transactions, and enable candidates interests to align with sectors. The acquisition of key sector experience was also invaluable to the team to enable better business alignment and ultimately more risk insights.
