Challenge
Partnering with the COO and Regional Chief Credit Underwriting Officer we were tasked with multiple executive level hires (Executive Directors) across the investment bank’s global corporate & investment banking franchise. Internal talent had been exhausted and a regulatory deadline for key talent to be in situ in each booking location was fast approaching.
Solution
An extensive cross-border headhunting exercise, leveraging all of our international connections to relocate candidates to designated new financial hubs. A huge proportion of the delivery came from referral sources generated through our London networks. Candidates went through rigorous qualification around motivations and long-term aspirations to be based in the required regions. Re-patriating experienced talent was a key success driver. This also enabled smoother relocation and longer term commitments on the placements.
Outcome
Eversearch successfully took the business unit to full complement across the newly formed function across London, Frankfurt, Dublin & Paris. The businesses successfully transitioned to a far more EU ready lending platform to manage credit risks up front as the business scaled post-Brexit.
